Trivia

Linsy Segarra is a Puerto Rican actress, writer, director and filmmaker originally from North Carolina. She is best known for Puerto Rican Jew (2023), Last Of The Living (2023), Shadow Acting (2023), and The Magdalene (2022). She also stars in It Happened August and Moment of Truth "The Couple" which are set to be released in 2024.

Segarra got her BFA in Acting from The University of North Carolina Greensboro and studied film acting at in-STUDIO under coaches Lee Spencer, Drew Matthews and Donald Watkins.

She began her career as an independent filmmaker in early 2023 and has completed two shorts, My Favorite Hat (2023) and Lark (2024). She is currently working on her third short called The Roles We Play, which is now in post-production.

Her work on stage includes playing the role of Hermia in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at Triad Stage.

As a teenager, Segarra collected every limited edition package of Oreos she could find until her junior year of college when she ate them all. To this day she chooses to ignore all health implications it may have caused.

She is currently a member of a Settlers of Catan Social Club and claims to be undefeated, though there is no evidence to back it up.
